Chapter Three

Azu ReBi City

The Kal Dragon threw Vincent off it back. The Kal dragon had flown into a far cave near the Azu ReBi. Vincent had followed the dragon to the cave on the top of Kashi Mountain. The dragon lifted its paw and threw Cari against the wall. She had fallen into a cage unconscious. Vincent had walked into the cave without making a sound and he had snuck up on the dragon. He jumped into the air and used on of the most powerful wolf attacks the Shonat. A hug fiery wolf summon had charged to the dragon. The wolf summons pierced through the dragon’s chest and pulled out its heart. Cari had woken up when Vincent pulled out the heart. Vincent walked over to her and used another wolf demon attack. He lowered his hand and helped Cari.

“Shall we continue to the demon tribe now,” Vincent said. Cari nodded in agreement.

They walked down the mountain towards a Fox Tribe, Azu ReBi City.

“You know one of my friends is from this village,” said Cari.
“Really wow she must have been a healer because all of the demons in this sector aren’t really the violent type,” said Vincent.

“Yep. She’s a one of a kind red fox demon. We’ve been through a lot together in the past,” Cari said sadly.

“Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to bring up those bad memories.”

“No it’s okay. Though I do miss all of my friends.”

As they left Auz Re Bi City a young fox demon approached them. And she said, “Please bring her back to us.” After the young fox demon said that it had just vanished into thin air leaving no trace. Cari and Vincent had an uncertain look on their faces, as if they just seen a ghost.

“We should be in the wolf tribe by nightfall tomorrow” Vincent said to Cari. Cari looked up and she had a sad smile on her face. As if she had forgotten something very important.

As they continued walking to the next forest it had started to rain. As Cari looked into the night sky she saw a figure running through the treetops. The figure was becoming closer and closer until a loud blast of thunder and the figure had vanished. It wasn't gone entirely Cari could hear a noise in the bushes. She stopped and looked around but it was too dark to see. Cari lifted up her hand to her face to see if she could see it. No luck at all. All she had seen was the pitch black midnight darkness.

Cari herd laughter from all directions at the position she was standing. Even though it was a cool summer night Cari felt a chill from the left side of her body. It was colder then a glacier of ice in the artic region. The laughter did not stop but the noise had become closer than before. She couldn’t tell what direction it was coming from this time. The only thing she could see was a light blue blur that raced across the forest floor. She chased after the blur and it had led her to a giant waterfall in the middle of the forest.

“It’s about time I thought you would never come to save me,” said the bluish figure.

“What do you mean?” Cari got a closer look at the blue figure. She was surprised to see it was her old friend Tara. It was about four years ago that the Kanae had taken her life. Tara hadn’t changed a bit from the mental image in her head. Her long sky blue hair had swayed in the breeze of wind. Hot tars started to flow from Cari’s eyes. She kneeled down and hugged Tara. After that action the rain had stopped and Tara started to get her color back. A huge ray of golden light came down and shined over Tara. In a matter of seconds Tara wasn’t a ghost like figure any more, but a living breathing half demon artic fox once again.

“Thanks Cari you brought me back.”

“But how did I do that?”

“I’m not quite sure. But I think it was your feeling to let me live is the way that brought me back.”

“Will the others be able to come back like the way you did?”

“I... I honestly don’t know. All I remember is that I wanted to come back.”

“CARI!” Yelled Vincent. Out of no where Vincent came out from behind the trees. He walked up to Cari and Tara and said, “Is this Yina from Auz Re Bi City? I thought she would be taller.”

“ARE YOU MAKING FUN OF MY HEIGHT! JUST BECAUSE I’M SHORT FOR MY AGE DOESN’T MEAN A THING!” Yelled Tara.

“She is sanative about her height,” Cari said to Vincent.

“I kind of noticed.” Responded Vincent.
