Chapter Nine

Father

“How long has Cari been gone now?” asked Fate.

“About a good four hours now Fate,” replied Shin’ichi.

In the far distance Shin’ichi saw two figures coming towards them. As they got closer Shin’ichi could tell that it was Cari.

He ran towards Cari and said, “Cari do you know everything now?”

“Yes, and I have some good news bro! Our father is alive,” said Cari.

Shin’ichi’s eyes grew big. Fate and Vincent ran towards Cari as Tara had glomped her. Cari fell to the ground pushing Tara off of her body.

“Hey what's wrong with him?” asked Tara.

“Huh? Oh well Cari told him that their father is alive.” said Yutaka.

“WHAT?!” said Tara, Fate and Vincent together.

“Cari I thought that you didn’t have any parents.” said Fate.

“I didn’t either but all I have is a father. Our mother died protecting us.” replied Cari.

“Wait then who is this?” asked Tara.

“This is Yutaka Yamoto in her younger form,” answered Cari.

“But I thought she died,” said Fate.

“She did on Canari, but how are you still alive Yutaka?” asked Cari.

“That is another story for another day,” Yutaka said, “Any way. Now can we go to the fire temple now?”

“Don’t worry Yina I’ll take care of this,” said The Fire Lord.
