Chapter Eight
Cari’s Past
“Where did you guys come from?” asked Vincent.
“The Gods sent us to you stupid,” said Fate as she glared at Vincent.
“Where is Cari? Wasn’t she with you Shin’ichi?” asked Tara.
“Yes, but she has to find her past,” replied Shin’ichi.
“What did she lose it or something?” puzzled Tara.
“Yes, stupid why else would she go and look for it,” said Fate as she hit Tara on the back of the head.
“Why did you hit me? That hurt.” said Tara.
“Oh, suck it up Tara.” said Fate.

As Cari walked down the isle towards the giant statue; she had visions of the Fire Lord. The Fire Lord was a tall figure
with tremors power. Cari also saw his face, he had looked just like Shin’ichi but his eyes had much more kindness in
them. As Cari came back to her senses she looked at Yutaka.
“Yutaka, the Fire Lord he...he’s my father isn’t he?” asked Cari.
“Yes, you were born on Canari but an accident had occurred when you were a child. Your mother was in fact a wolf
demon and your father was one of us on Suna. Your mother had protected you thirteen years ago. You might not remember this
because you had lost your memory. The Kanae did not like the fact that you were part Kanae and Demon because you are the rightful
heir the throne of Suna. Your mother stood in the way and she had paid the ultimate price, her life. Your brother Shin’ichi
saw the portal to Suna open he thought that you would be safe there, so he put you through. When he did that I found you.
Neither on Suna and Canari you were safe. Your father had given me an order to protect you. He opened another portal to Canari,
he knew that we would be safe from harms way. I took you in and raised you, but it wasn’t long until the Kanae had found
you again. Your friends knew that they didn’t want you to die. So they put their lives on the line to protect you. And
I am sure that you know the rest Cari,” explained Yutaka.
“But is my father still alive Yutaka?”
“Yes, do you wish to see him?”
“Yes Yutaka I do.”
“Then I think it would be right for you brother to see him as well.”
