Chapter Twelve
Xeon’s arrival
Yutaka had fallen at Cari’s feet unconscious. Cari looked up at Soji; she stared deeply into his eyes. She turned
away and bent down at Yutaka.
“What did you do to her,” Cari asked.
“Nothing really,” responded Soji.
“She’s in pain what in the hell did you do to her,” yelled Cari.
Soji walked slowly over to Yutaka; he bent down to Cari’s level. He saw fresh cuts and blood over her face. His eyes
widened, he looked around and said, “It wasn’t me who did this it was Xeon.”
“That bastard is here in the fire temple,” asked Cari.
“No, but he is on his way over. He has been trying to dethrone me for a long time now. He wants total power of Suna.
He made our people into monsters. He genetically enhanced their powers. Cari we were once peaceful,” explained Soji.
“He hates the demons as well. Why though I know that the old Xeon is still inside of him some where. But, his heart
it’s so cold,” said Cari.
“He has the Jewel of Demon Souls. That is how he is getting rid of the Demons. He thinks that the Demons are inferior.
But the one thing he doesn't understand is that the Demons didn’t send us away from Canari. Our leader had sent us there
for our own protection. We couldn’t take the gravity pressure on Canari, at that time our bodies were fragile,”
explained Soji.
“So the Four Wise Ones don’t exist?” Asked Cari.
“No, he made all of that information up so he could get to the people of Suna,” said Soji.
“That bastard!” Yelled Fate.
“Fire Lord!” Screamed one of the guards from outside. Soji ran outside to see the sky had turned pitch black.
“Guards quick get into the temple!” Yelled Soji.
All of the guards came out of no where and retreated into the temple. The door was being blocked off with the strongest
substance that was on Suna. Everyone was quiet inside the temple waiting for battle.
Soji turned to Cari and said, “You and your friends must leave Suna. This place is not right for our heir to be right
now.”
Yina had appeared; “Fire Lord Xeon is here isn’t he?”
“Yina and Yutaka must go with you. They are Demons they have to be on Canari. Guards untie the Demons. Now go I’ll
open a portal,” said Soji as a portal to Canari opened. He turned to Cari and said, “Cari only you can stop this
whole thing but at your current state you are not a match for Xeon and the Kanae you have to get stronger. Take this pendant
with you it belonged to your mother. GO NOW BEFOR THE PORTAL CLOSES!”
Cari and the others went through the portal and once again they were back on Canari.
